Happy New Year!
Creativity calms dueling neurons
I want to wish everyone a wonderful and happy new year. May all your wishes and dreams come true this year!
Love more.
Stress less.
Be present.
Take care of yourself, too.
One way to take care of yourself is to give yourself time to create. Do you enjoy cooking new meals, designing clothes, making things for loved ones, or working in the yard? Each of these activities, and many more, offer you the opportunity to slow down and be creative. This, in turn, nurtures your soul.
I enjoy creating new outfits for my gaggle of geese. I have a big 28” porch goose that lives in my office at work. As you can see in the photo, he’s ready to celebrate 2025. I also have several 3D-printed 7” geese. I purchased several of the 7” geese from a young entrepreneur who transferred her family’s cement porch goose into a 3D design while learning about STEM. January's desk goose outfit is modeled by “goosequin.” Having “goosequins” allows me to keep my painted geese at work and still create new outfits at home. Nobody wants to drag geese back and forth. Am I right?
Before you go, decide what type of creative endeavor you will try next. If you’d like to share, let me know in the comments.
Stay well.
